A man is a success if he gets up

in the morning and

Goes to bed at night and in

Between does what he

wants to do.

What's My day like?

Coming from a low middle income family, it was my decision to be a stay at home mom. I decided to become a stay at home mom since I got married and started to have kids. Though it was a difficult decision for me to be a stay-at-home mother since I am a college graduate and could have a career that I really want to BUT I still chose to be the one to look after the needs of my kids as well as my husband. I took care of my kids since they were born up to now that my two older daughters are 13 and 12 and the youngest will be turning 5 on December.
So what is my day like? I usually wake up at 5:00 in the morning during school days. While every weekend and vacations i wake up at 7:00 in the morning. I cook breakfast for my daughters who goes to school. I make sure that all they need are prepared already. From their uniforms, their snacks/packed lunch, shoes are all ready. After they leave, I usually eat my breakfast "ALONE" which I really prefer because I consider this as my " me time" before I do all the chores for the day.
When my youngest daughter and husband wakes up, I made sure I cook and prepare their breakfast as well. Lately, Amaya has a thing for pancakes. After I am done with cooking and washing of the dishes, time to clean the house. I am thankful that the house we are staying right now is not that big so it is easier to clean and maintain it. From the sala, to the bedrooms then the kitchen and lastly the bathroom. Whew.
After cleaning the whole house time for me to do the laundry, especially the uniforms of my daughters and that of my hubby's. I usually iron the clothes every weekend, either Saturday or Sunday.
After I have done all of my chores, I usually take a break, hey I deserve it after doing a lot of work. Then just before lunch I make sure that Amaya has taken her bath and then lunch for both of us. I usually take my bath in the afternoons when Amaya is taking her siesta. Then time for me to browse the net, play my favorite game bejeweled at Facebook and blog.
When kids arrive from school, usually at 5:00 in the afternoon, time for me to help them in anyway I can in their homeworks/assignments. Then time to prepare and eat dinner. And the last agenda before we sleep is watching our current favorite teleserye, 100 Days to Heaven over at channel 2.

And as I end my day, I never forget to say a short but meaningful prayer:
"Thank you Lord for this day. Amen"

Whew, what a day right?! How about you, what is your day like?

Thanks for the Inventions

I don't own any Mac/Apple products, just yet, but I have heard a lot about this man. He is our present Thomas Edison because of all his inventions. He may have "foreseen" that he will die anytime soon that is why he retired/resigned from Apple.
"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma" This is part of Steve Jobs speech he gave at Stanford. And I agree with this...
To Steve Jobs, thanks for all the inventions and Rest In Peace.

Thank You Very Much

Today we celebrate Teacher's Day. I appreciate my teachers from kindergarten to elementary to high school, and my professors in college. I know that being a teacher is one of the MOST DIFFICULT job in this universe. It is one job that the pay is not that enough but they still share their knowledge and intelligence to their students.

They say few are called to teach because one has to have patience and understanding of their student's individuality. Let's face it, hindi lahat ng students eh on the "bright" side yet they are patient and understanding sa mas kailangan ng attention nila.

So to all my Teachers from Mary Help of Christians School, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Canossa Academy, and De La Salle - Lipa: I salute all of you. Thank you so very much I have learned a lot from all of you and part of who I am is because of each one of you.

God bless each one of you and your respective families and again, my heartfelt thanks.

To recognise how good things

Really are.

My Top 5 Favorite Chocolates

I just thought of putting my own list of favorites here in my blog. Why Wednesday? To be frank I really don't know. So for my first Wednesday's Top 5 it's all about my favorite chocolate bar/candy. Yes I am a chocoholic, as in. So here are my Top 5 Favorite brands.
1. TWIX - Lately have rediscovered this chocolate bar after a long time. In a pack it has 2 bars in it. It is a chocolate coated bar with wafer in the middle and caramel. Eating a pack of this chocolate makes my day.

2. KIT KAT - I do love this chocolate bar candy. Eating the four-finger bars is enough for me to keep my energy up.

3. MALTESERS - Chocolate coated candy in a round shape with wafers inside. I love the sweetness of this candy. But 4 to 5 pieces is enough to keep me going.

4. 3 MUSKETEERS - This chocolate candy bar has caramel in between and it is so chewy that is why I love this as well.
5. CLOUD 9 - A local brand chocolate coated with caramel, nougat and peanuts. Even if it is locally made I love this one and it could compete with the imported brands.

How about you, what are your top 5 chocolate candy/bar?
