A Different Kind of Weekend

Last Saturday afternoon Francis told me and the kids that we will be watching the movie The Dark Knight Rises, and this time we will be watching it at Alabang Town Center. And so we were all so excited because it has been a while since we went there. As soon as we arrived at the place we went straight ahead to the cinema area and whoa!, there were a lot of people lined up already. And as I lined up, my youngest daughter, Amaya made this face and whisper something to his tatay's ear. Then Francis, came up and told me that Amaya doesn't like to watch the movie and so is my Ate Joie. It ended that only me and my eldest, Arielle will be watching.

My eldest daughter and I were crossing our fingers that we could get watch the movie at 4:15pm, which by the way was few minutes before it began. Luckily we were able to get the tickets but then again we will be seating few seats from each other. Grabe! How organized and aliw I am when I saw how at the Cinemas in Alabang were. You have the chance to choose where to seat, they will show you via a monitor which seats are still available and which are not. That is how Arielle and I ended few seats apart from one another.

While we, Arielle and I, were watching Francis was busy looking after our 2 other daughters and they really went around the area. They played at Timezone, ate at Krispy Kreme and played at the playground. Here are some of the photos.

Amaya loves to slide

She also loves to climb

It is not bad that each of the family members could do what they want to do. Arielle and I enjoyed the movie, while Francis and my 2 other girls enjoyed playing and roaming around ATC.

How was your weekend?

My New Find: Oryspa Organic Soap

Few weeks ago, while at the mall, I saw this small stall, if I could call them that way. Oryspa is the name of the stall. They are selling products ranging from baby care, bath and body care, home and spa solutions. The main ingredient in all of their products is called RICE BRAN... For my first purchase(s), I bought the following:

these soaps when used, super bango (it smells
really, really good). The Goatsmilk & Oatmeal,
when you use it, there is this smell that
you would like to eat. hahaha!

while this Tea Tree when used, it has
this calming-effect when used.

One thing that I have noticed is that ever since I used the soap, Goatsmilk and Oatmeal to my youngest daughter's body, naging makinis na yung balat niya (my youngest daughter's skin became smooth) to think ang dami nyang mga sugat caused by scratching and all. Each of the soap above, cost 135.00 pesos, it is expensive but then again it is worth it especially I could see the difference in my skin as well as in the skin of my3 daughters

Yeah, you read it right, CHAMPORADO
SCRUB. hahaha! And I tell you, IT DOES
smell like champorado. This one is used
for the face, 2x or 3x a week. So far I am
enjoying using this product, the oiliness
in my face has lessen. So far so good.

I am no beauty expert but then again I am sharing with you my dear blogger readers, what I have found and probably you could try it. I am trying to be "green" as possible, by using organic products like the ones above.

*NOTE: I AM NO BEAUTY EXPERT, JUST SHARING MY THOUGHTS AND HOW I DO FIND THE PRODUCTS THAT I BOUGHT...

Uniform For Amaya

I was supposed to blog this yesterday but then again I blogged another post but as the saying goes, better late than never. Hahaha! After a month of wearing of "ordinary" clothes to school, last Friday we got Amaya's school uniform. So yesterday she wore her uniform already and I tell you every person she knows here at the house and at school she would blurt it out loud: LOOK I HAVE MY UNIFORM ALREADY.... that is how proud my daughter is. Here are some of the pictorial mode before she went to school yesterday.

Excited much si Amaya ko

and here she is wearing
her complete uniform...

Smart Parenting: My Favorite Parenting Magazine

Ever since I got pregnant for the third time, the only magazine that I usually buys at any magazine stands or bookstores is Smart Parenting. It is the magazine that could at least help parents, whether a new or for the nth time. I believe that when I became a mom to my eldest and to my 2nd (yes magkasunod talaga sila), it was easy to apply techniques to both my girls. But when I got pregnant for the 3rd time, I have to look for someways to help me review some of the things that I should know. And I tell you, this magazine really works wonders. As they usually say there certain things that it won't work with your baby right now, but at least you could have an insight of what to do and what not to do.

I bought the latest issue of Smart Parenting just this morning at a mall. Most of the topics discussed in the magazine could help me one way or another. And every time one would buy this magazine, a free National Geographic Little Kids is included. How nice is that. And this time aside from the National Geographic Little Kids, Smart Parenting is kind enough to add another freebie, Smart Parenting 150+ fun & activities for kids.

*this is not a paid advertisement from the magazine, I am just a mom who frequently buys this magazine.

Rainy Days are Here Again

As a lot of people know, here in the Philippines as soon as July enters, everybody gets to get ready their umbrellas, raincoats, and rain boots for it is the Rainy Season.... But wait is it? Lately the hotness and humidity of the weather is really over the top, as the usual text I sent to my mom who is in Laguna, MOM IT IS SOOO FREAKING HOT AND DINAIG PA ANG SUMMER (WORSE THAN SUMMER). And if it will rain, it will just be few hours, swerte ka na nun (your lucky) and worse is just a few a droplets of rain.

Lately my 3 daughters have either cough, colds or worse asthma attack. So to avoid these, let me share some of my tips with you mommy/mommies:

1. ALWAYS let your kids drink vitamins, especially VITAMIN C. On my part, the pediatrician of my daughters prescribed either PEDZINC or PEDCEE.

2. Let your kids bring either an umbrella or a raincoat to protect them from the rain.

3. Since the weather is really on the "abnormal" side due to climate change, I usually let my kids bring an extra shirt in case they perspire too much, para ndi matuyuan ng pawis and avoid cough and colds.

4. I make it a point to include veggies in some of the menus that I cook especially during dinner time. My kids love broccoli, cabbage, carrots, kangkong (water spinach).

I know what I shared are just simple but I hope that it could help you one way or another.

Stay safe and stay away from fever, coughs, and colds.

Miss Blogging Already

Hello! Blog readers, I know it has been a week since the last time I posted something here. As usual super duper busy ako because of the kids and the "unconditional" time of Amaya's school schedule. But I will be posting again this coming week. Mostly about Amaya in school and about the book I just finished reading entitled, THE FAULT IN THE STARS by John Green. Tomorrow, my kids and I will be attending a birthday party at a famous food chain store. Haaay kami na ang may hectic schedule. hahaha!
